This piece of art was done just for fun. I took inspiration from various Indian motifs, colors, etc.

All this bad news about the economy being in the tank had me a little down earlier. So I did this piece to cheer myself up. All those fruity colors put a big, super-duper smile on my face and made me forget about my worries. So we’ll just call this piece of art my emotional stimulus plan. When I started this personal piece of art, I didn't have a clear direction. I didn't do a preliminary sketch, I just start creating shapes in Photoshop. What slowly emerged was this image of Jesus Christ. My friends like to call him "Robot Jesus."

The multi-colored rays eminating from Jesus' head were by far the most time consuming part of this piece. So time consuming that I thought of giving up on the piece a number of times. I'm glad I didn't.

As usual, this was done entirely in Photoshop using vector shapes, the pen tool and a few brushes.

A Mexican Wrestler, or Luchador, image created for a Masterclass tutorial in Advanced Photoshop magazine issue 41.

Luchadores have always fascinated me because of the colorful costumes and secretive lives they lead. Creating this piece has made me to want to create more. So I will probably be posting more mexican wrestlers soon.

"Krazy Ray Ray" is a portrait of a friend I had many years ago. His name was Ray Ray, as yes, he was crazy! So crazy that he isn't alive anymore. He was the kind of guy that you needed as your friend growing up in a tough neighborhood because you certainly didn't want him as your enemy.

Featured on the cover of Advanced Photoshop magazine issue 27, this piece was originally produced for a series titled "Four Elements" in which I depicted air, water, fire, and earth. The title of this one is Air.

Created in Photoshop using various brushes, the pen tool and vector shapes, this piece took about 7 hours to complete and is 18"x24" at 300 dpi.
